A terminal plugin is a set of approved functions wrapping an external protocol. These functions allow a borrower to enter advanced investment positions on-chain with their borrowed assets. Each loan utilizing a terminal plugin is a standalone Minimal Proxy Contract (MPC) that ensures deep separation of risk.

The MPC holds state and assets with custoday shared between the borrower and the contract. If a position decreases in value such that collateralization ratio goes below the agreed minimum the position can be kicked and passed along to the agreed Closer plugin.
